D'aal is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and both non-agricultural and preindustrial in nature.

• These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
• Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
• The worldlets are, for the most part, unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
• These worldlets are working towards being an industrial world but lack an adequate workforce to do so.
• It is a member of the Regency of Muirimi in the Joseph Subsector of Theron Sector.

• It is a tiny white dwarf stellar remnant.

• It is a relatively undeveloped backwater.
• There are only occasional visitors to the system, typically mining transports.

• The population are culturally Muirimi.
• The inhabitants of this world can trace their origins back to the central Asian and Indian subcontinent regions of Terra.

D'aal has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. Most worlds with this law level may be an Amber Zone or Red Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). All aspects of life rigidly controlled with disproportionate punishments for even minor legal infractions. There is no difference between the police and the military. This world is a full-fledged police state. Oppression is legalized and routine.
