While a Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Yavakrbi is considered the 'End of the Colonnade', the furthest rimward member system settled by Zhodani. It has five separate governments, one for the world and four for various spacer and outsystem communities, each claiming dominance over system affairs. Its orbital port is operated by the Colonnade administration.

World Starport[edit]

Yavakrbi has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Yavakrbi has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.

  • The well-regulated bureaucratic government of the mainworld contrasts with the limited government and more cutthroat societies in the outsystem, leading to allegations of smuggling and other illegal activities based among the hundreds of settled asteroids and habitats. The Colonnade patrols the system to keep the peace between rival miners and limit the lawlessness, but they have limited resources in comparison to the sheer number of settlements.

World Law (L)[edit]

Yavakrbi has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
