The Breaker class Corvette is a very compact warship with a very large mission.

Description (Specifications)

This design uses a streamlined, needle/wedge configuration 300 ton hull, for ocean refueling. It carries fuel scoops and a fuel purification refinery. It mounts jump 2 drives and 5 G maneuver drives. Fuel tankage for 135 ton supports the power plant and allows two jump-2. Adjacent to the bridge is a model/5 fib computer. There are five staterooms with double occupancy. There is a forward mounted, double plasma gun turret. Each plasma gun fires as its own battery to allow two targets to be engaged at the same time. There are out rigger triple beam laser turrets at the end of each wing. There are no ship's troops or marines for boarding or customs inspections. The cargo capacity is 8 tons. The corvette requires a crew of ten.

It serves with the Gamma Republic. This corvette is a typical small warship used on patrol, military, and anti-corsair missions.
