History & Background (Dossier)

Aachen is classified as an Amber Zone due to a quarantine created to prevent members of a minor race calling themselves the A'ach'en from leaving the surface. When the A'ach'en were first discovered, it was decided that the world would be governed as a protectorate under the control of SolSec. This quarantine is administered from the nearby subsector capital of Thalia (Ustral Quadrant Sector, Thalia Subsector 2909).

World Starport

Aachen has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships.
