Count of Gazulin
The Count is a serious man with a sense of history. He is responsible for administering a frontier region with a rich and long cultural heritage. Arteries of trade lead coreward toward Trin's Veil and Spinward to Pax Rulin. The count's subsector capital is headquartered with an important scout base and naval base. One of the 202nd Fleet's five squadrons is stationed in the Gazulin system. Three important X-boat routes intersect here as well. His forces keep tabs on the Senlis Foederate and watch for advancing Aslan fleets. The Count is a student of history and is particularly interested in relics from the era of the Sindalian Empire. He has quite a collection in a personal museum. A retired naval line officer he has supervised the construction of some minor combatatants at the local shipyards at the local tech level. He uses these colonial assets to pursue pirates and discretely operate beyond the borders where regular imperial fleets would not bother. He was gravely injured from a direct hit on his armored cruiser's flag bridge during a space battle. He goes to great lengths to conceal the extent of cloned tissue regrowth and repair that was necessary to recover from the cybernetic parts he received as expedient battlefield level repairs.
