An Extremophyloid is the typoid classification of creatures exhibiting characteristics similar to various extremeophile creatures. These are creatures living in some extreme conditions. Examples include deep ocean bottoms, deep underground, in hot springs, or other places where conditions are widely different from the normal surface conditions of a world.
