Ingo Subsector is Subsector I of Astron Sector.

Description / Specifications

Ingo Subsector is a largely unpopulated and undeveloped wilderness. Some worlds within the region have never had an intelligent being visit them.

  • The resources of the subsector are for the most part untapped.

World Details: 1105

Detailed UWP data for all the worlds listed within the subsector can be retrieved from Astron Sector data files.

Astrographic Features & Trade Routes: 1105

The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Ingo Subsector:

  • The subsector is a relatively low stellar density region.
  • The brightest star is a young blue-white main sequence lying within hex 0126.
  • A long trace of stars projects into the central part of the subsector from rimward, and a scatter of stars lie along its spinward and coreward edges.
  • Its coreward-trailing edge forms part of the Longer Void, a large rift.
  • No trade routes are noted as crossing the region.

Stellar Distribution

A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Ingo Subsector.

  • The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
  • The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.

Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.

  • Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
  • Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.

Rift Regions

Three rift area lies within the subsector: the spinward rift, the trailing bit, and the rimward void.

  • They are considered to be part of The Gulfs, an extended region of the Idella Rift.

Locally at least, a rift is an astrographic concept based on Jump Drive performance.

The highest tech level commonly encountered out this Far Along (spinward of the Third Imperium) is TL–12, though a few worlds may be more advanced.

World Listing: 1105

Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds lying within Ingo Subsector is available.

  • The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
  • Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
  • Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
  • Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.

AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:
