Subsector D of Corridor Sector.
This subsector is named due to its Imperial territory being a strip only a few parsecs wide. The Great Rift is on one side and Vargr states are on the other. The Narrows is one of the most strategically important regions in Imperial space. The economy of the Narrows benefits from trade passing through Corridor to the Domain of Deneb and coreward into Vargr space, as well as through proximity to the long-developed worlds of Vland Sector.

The Narrows Subsector is defended by 133rd Fleet and the 134th Fleet.

The Narrows, subsector D of Corridor, has 30 worlds, of which 25 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 15 billion sophonts. There are 4 Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus one Non-Agricultural (Na) world. There are 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds versus one Industrial (In) world. There is one Rich (Ri) world versus 6 Poor (Po) worlds. The subsector contains 4 Water (Wa) and Ocean (Oc) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, 3 Desert (De) worlds, one Asteroid (As) belt, and 2 Vacuum (Va) worlds. There are 2 High population (Hi) worlds versus 10 Low population (Lo) worlds and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are 6 Naval bases and 9 Scout bases within the subsector. In The Narrows there is one race homeworld (Neghu Oug).
