Luco is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and are both non-agricultural and nonindustrial in nature.

• Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
• The worldlets are, for the most part, unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
• These worldlets have very few prospect for economic expansion.
• It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Cleft Subsector of Harea Sector.

• Asteroid belts have no climate, but experience extreme differences in temperature between direct starlight and shade.
• It orbits the secondary star.
• This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
• This world-system has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)

Luco is a quaternary star system.

• The primary is a turbulent blue subgiant named Turocor.
• The secondary is a yellow main sequence.
• The tertiary is a red main sequence.
• The quaternary is a tiny white dwarf stellar remnant.

It consists of two binary systems lying around 0.25 light-years apart.

Luco has four stars in the star system.

Luco is an Asterioid Belt or Planetoid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects. Asteroid Belt is used when the belt is the mainworld of a system. Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

None of the bodies within the Luco belt retain an atmosphere.

• The belt is in vacuum conditions, requiring the use of a Vacc Suit.

Luco has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
