So-called the “Gateway to Goekhnael”, Dzighkafe subsector of Knoellighz enjoys many advantageous worlds as the last, most secure subsector to border Goekhnael.  It is coveted by both the Vargr of the Democracy of Greats (Vd or VDoG) and the Zhodani Consulate (Zh or ZhIN).

Thirty-nine worlds, of which two are Failing and another is quite Doomed.

The only potential Capital world, favored by all yet hindered by its Tech Level and Balkanization is Rraghu 1209 which is blessed with both Garden and Rich Trade Codes.  It is coveted by the Democracy of Greats just two parsecs away.

One Polity holding 19 percent of the subsector parsecs is the Democracy of Greats located in the Rimward-Trailing corner of the subsector.

Five Garden worlds

Three Rich worlds

Two Asteroid worlds

Four Vacuum worlds

Three Agricultural worlds, plus one world very near to attaining the Trade Code, (Uezizgikhs 1101).

Five Corsair Bases, two of which are held by one Corsair Band while the third, fourth and fifth are often forced into quietus by the numerous Naval Bases.

Thirteen Naval Bases, outnumbering the Zhodani Bases of Riadr subsector.  Only two are owned by the Democracy of Greats, the rest being locally owned or placed over Captured Governments or Colony worlds.  Dzighkafe, despite its frontier and pioneer worlds is well patrolled by those who care to do so.

The highest Tech Level worlds are shared by Kogak 1302 which enjoys an automated Starport with High Autonomous robot population and Uerrgruth 1505, a Colony which needs such levels to survive its Desert and Ice-capped belts.  Both enjoy their TL 13 ratings.

The lowest Tech Level world is Aksoth 1506 mainly due to its Population of 8000 Vargr.

The highest Population of 9 billion Vargr are found on EGHUEKARORRG 1603.

The lowest Population, depending on whether the nine sophonts or the thousands of High Autonoumous robots guided by Holocrystal programming, is found on Kogak 1302 and is subject to debate all the way Rimward to Serue (Knoellighz 1221).

The only true Water world in the subsector is Songuzgzurrganoen 0908 which also holds one of three Rich world codes of the subsector and is also coveted by the Democracy of Greats and the nearby Zhodani Consulate, yet is protected by too many Naval Bases in the cluster of worlds to be properly claimed by either polity.

There are two Amber Zone worthy worlds, interdicted by nearby worlds on grounds of low Tech and high combinations of Government and Law ratings.  Though largely harmless due to its Tech Level of 4, GNUESOSOLL 0910 is avoided due to eating practices of the population as well as its odd application of culinary arts on display for days before consumption.  Knarrghdhaerthaghz 1404, also slowly Failing, is overwatched by a Naval Base installed in high orbit by the government of Negzkhoen 1304 upon discovery of the world’s Dictator-King and strangulating C Law leading to distrust of Travellers and conservative, crystallized culture.

There is one struggling and slowly Failing world at Dhaeghorrg 1402 and is owned by Negzkhoen 1304.

A Doomed world’s escaping refugees are predated upon by an in-system Corsair Base at Adhaeginlladh 1410 inside the Coreward corner of the Democracy of Greats.  The Corrosive atmosphere defeated all attempts to colonize the mainworld and is only suitable for Gas Giant fuel skimming.  Low Tech inhabitants pay extortionist amounts for safe passage off-world.

There are three High Population, Industrial worlds in Dzighkafe subsector. GNUESOSOLL 0910 is the low-end, low-Tech refining and manufacturing node of the subsector.  OGZZARVELLRONILL 1109 enjoys the highest Tech (TL9) majority of production in the Spinward-Rimward corner of the subsector.  EGHUEKARORRG 1603 is the environmentally-minded Industrial world also blessed with a Garden code.

Two worlds can claim the pseudo-code of Nexus for their High-Tech, C+ Starports and middle-to-low Government/Law ratings.  Kogak 1302 has no Government or Law while miraculously maintaining an A Starport, a Naval Base and one of two worlds in the subsector with a TL13 rating.

Kuksogllaksllulzoun 1608 inside the Democracy of Greats has a Representative Democracy with no means to back up its Law rating of 0 and its A Starport other than an uncaring Naval Base, is a favored funnel for many border runners, smugglers, Corsairs and other never-do-wells.  Being the final jump-off world for the subsector, Sorrgharrgh 0901 (an Asteroids world) has the highest of the three pseudo-coded worlds but its position and Naval base make it ideal for meetings of higher-caliber transports, Far Traders, Zhodani from Riadr subsector and anyone else passing the “Gateway to Goekhnael”.

A Corsair band, the “Dripping Fangs”, holds two Bases over the Rich world of Akhokh 1009 and in the Oort Cloud of Industrial OGZZARVELLRONILL 1109 which has plenty of Vargr and Zhodani traffic to harass at 100 diameters.

At Roa 1102 is found the only Corsair band to stay in piracy despite the many patrols of the 11 non-Aligned Naval Bases keeping piracy to a low growl.  Its position along the “Gateway to Goekhnael” is off the beaten path to avoid attention.

Eight worlds of Dzighkafe subsector are Owned by other worlds, having either Captive Governments or being Colonies.  However, the owning worlds have not yet the capability or resources to form polities.  They are:

Sorrgharrgh 0901, owned by Soegezounuets 1103

Uea 0906, owned by Dhourraz 0907

Songuzgzurrganoen 0908, owned by Dhourraz 0907

Ongnuen 1004, owned by Soegzounuets 1003

Dhughre 1110, owned by OGZZARVELLRONILL 1109

Ouou 1207, owned by Akhgarregh 1205

Dhaeghorrg 1402, a slowly Failing, Asteroids mining world mishandled by Neghkhoen 1304

Uerrghrueth 1505, a covetous, High-Tech world Colonzied by Neghkhoen 1304

Of note is the anomaly world of Kogak 1302, a Barren, Low Population, Non-Industrial and yet High-Tech mainworld home to nine Vargr administrators of thousands of High Autonomous, Holocrystal equipped robots and sub-intelligent mainframes that maintain a Starport A for all who pull into the Highport above a planet ready for minimal colonization.  The system is a funnel, a so-called Nexus for its starship facilities, Gas Giant, the in-house Naval Base and Starport cleanliness and efficiency.

Subsector B of Knoellighz Sector.

Known as the so-called "Gateway to Ghoekhnael", Dzighkafe Subsector features many advantageous worlds benefiting from its position as the last, most secure subsector to border Ghoekhnael.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

No information yet available.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Dzighkafe, subsector B of Knoellighz, contains 39 worlds with an estimated combined population of 18 billion, a per capita income of Cr1,711, and a total economy of BCr31,651. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr150 through 34 starports (4 Class A, 11 Class B, 12 Class C, 7 Class D) employing 20,005 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, six Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, six Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and three Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Dzighkafe maintain 13 Naval bases and seven Corsair bases. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 3 and 10). The highest technology level is 13 at Kogak (Knoellighz 1302) and Uerrgrueth (Knoellighz 1505).

Dzighkafe, subsector B of Knoellighz, contains 40 stars and 384 identified planets; 38 monostellar systems, one binary system, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 30 of the 39 systems (76%) have native gas giants. There are three Asteroid (As) belts, six Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, 11 Poor (Po) worlds, eight Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Dzighkafe has an estimated population of 18 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, five Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 19 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Eghuekarorrg (Knoellighz 1603), Gnuesosoll (Knoellighz 0910), and Ogzzarvellronill (Knoellighz 1109). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.

2 identified sophont populations in Dzighkafe
  • Vargr of Lair (Provence 2402): 18 billion on 38 worlds.
  • Ontauru of Wheiha'ei, a secondary world of Sorrgharrgh (Knoellighz 0901).

Non-Aligned, Vargr-dominated[edit]

There are 33 Non-Aligned Vargr-dominated worlds in Dzighkafe with an estimated combined population of 18 billion.

Democracy of Greats[edit]

The Democracy of Greats has jurisdiction over six worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 230 million, a per capita income of Cr678, and a total economy of BCr156. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr3 through 4 starports (1 Class A, 1 Class B, 1 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 455 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Democracy of Greats maintain two Corsair bases and two Naval bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 12 at Kuksogllaksllulzoun (Knoellighz 1608).

The Democracy of Greats has an estimated population of 230 million within the subsector, distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, three Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Rrokskhuer (Knoellighz 1409). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
