Thaggesh is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Thaggesh has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. A Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear and will likely be easy for most sophonts to breathe.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Thaggesh has 55-65% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Native Lifeforms

Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

The native life is not completely compatible with Human biochemistry. Consequently, the Thaggeshi learned (or were taught by the Ancients) the skills needed to make food ready for Human consumption. Unlike the Vilani, however, no shugilii-type class developed, since the Ancients also transplanted to Thaggesh a few food species that were compatible. Notably, the bovine herbivore called an ashat has long been domesticated and is a staple of the Thaggeshi diet.

History & Background (Dossier)

Native Thaggeshi have great respect for their planet. From earliest times, Thaggeshi have been acutely aware that upsetting the delicate ecological balance would result in their deaths. With only a few plants and animals edible without preparation, they have always been very concerned about keeping those species healthy. The advance of technological sophistication has not altered this thought pattern.

Imperial Landed Nobility

Thaggesh, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the estate and fiefdoms of three members of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.

Thaggesh has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All blade weapons and firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
