The company was originally formed in -150 at Iksha, then called Gishgi, by the Amdimkismin family, merging two recently acquired smaller shipping companies.

- LL Freight Systems, a bulk-hauling business which operated very large (5,000- to 20,000-ton) Jump-1 freighters for mass-transport of very large or non-sensitive cargoes.
- LL Courier, which ran Jump-2 and Jump-3 ships for shipment of urgent or perishable cargoes, as well as messages, small packages, and e-mail.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
A chance meeting between Cleon Zhunastu and Albana Amdimkismin in -38 led to a lifelong friendship between the two. Albana would eventually become head of her family, and in -10, LishunLine became the first corporation headquartered outside the Sylean realm to be granted a Federation (later Imperial) charter. LishunLine subsequently became a linchpin of Imperial expansion into the coreward extents, particularly (of course) Lishun Sector.
