Podlia is a barren world with no overt population, government, or law level.
- This world could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Lythgoe Subsector of Fulani Sector.
- It is a chilly tundra world, with a climate of low temperatures.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)
Podlia is a binary star system.
- Both are orange main sequence stars.
System Data
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x6 secondary rocky worlds.
- x4 gas giants.
Mainworld Data
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones colder outer H- region.
- It receives lower levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits inside the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)
Podlia is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)
Podlia has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)
Podlia has 15-25% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice. There may be a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are Hell Worlds or Poor Worlds depending on their atmosphere.
- The world experiences low temperatures.
- The surface is a frigid, hostile environment.
Satellites:
Podlia retains three small vacuum moons.
- The worlds orbit once every few weeks.
Mainworld Geography and Topography
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms
Primitive native life occupying a number of ecological niches. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)
Podlia is a frontier, a wild and lonely place that rarely sees visitors. Many of the planets and moons within it have ever have had an intelligent being visit them.
- The resources of the system are largely untapped.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)
Podlia does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Demographics (P)
Podlia is unpopulated.
Urbanization
None.
World Technology Level (T)
Podlia possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.
- The world has no technological base.
World Government (G)
Podlia has no government or ruling authority of any kind.
World Military
None.
World Law (L)
Podlia has no law level. No laws of any kind are enforced.
