The Mucker class Close Support Craft is a paramilitary smallcraft.
Description
The Mucker class Close Support Craft is a very cheap way of carrying a squad of troops into combat - but anyone who has ever travelled in a Mucker class Close Support Craft will point out that "cheap" does not necessarily mean the same thing as "expendable".
The Mucker class Close Support Craft is relatively versatile. It can carry a range of weaponry and its (limited) cargo space can be a useful asset. However, the manufacturers recommend that it should be used for either cargo or troop transport. As supplied, the Mucker class Close Support Craft can do both, but this is not always the most efficient approach.
Note that the Mucker class Close Support Craft is highly automated, with both a ship's brain and a Batman class Combat Service Support Robot.
