The Batman class Combat Service Support Robot is designed to be a loyal personal servant for officers. It can be a medic, a mechanic, a scout, and a porter. If given a weapon, it can also provide fire support.

Some critics suggest that the Batman class Combat Service Support Robot attempts too much and that its primary purpose should be the maintenance and repair of weaponry. They also point out the absence of a built-in medkit. However, the designers state that every soldier should be carrying an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK).

It is essentially a flying ball with two large arms ending in hands, capable of using equipment designed for sophonts with hands. It also has a load-carrying loop placed below the main chassis, allowing it to carry an additional 20 kg while maintaining its speed and keeping its arms free.
