Subsector K of Wrenton Sector.

Description[edit]

This subsector is the origin point for the species of the same name, a major Hive Federation member race.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Za'tachk, subsector K of Wrenton, contains 34 worlds with an estimated combined population of 23 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,631, and a total economy of BCr85,793. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr4,519 through 24 starports (10 Class A, 5 Class B, 7 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 646,935 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Za'tachk maintain 16 Military bases and six Naval bases. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 3 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Ksoqe (Wrenton 2221) and Slatri (Wrenton 2423).

Za'tachk, subsector K of Wrenton, contains 51 stars and 363 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 17 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 32 of the 34 systems (94%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, two Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Za'tachk has an estimated population of 23 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and six Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Loza'tch (Wrenton 2330). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Hive Federation[edit]

The Hive Federation has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 23 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,631, and a total economy of BCr85,793. The governments in the Hive Federation maintain 16 Military bases and six Naval bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 3 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Ksoqe (Wrenton 2221) and Slatri (Wrenton 2423).

The Hive Federation has an estimated population of 23 billion within the subsector, distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and six Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Loza'tch (Wrenton 2330). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Major Historical Events Timeline: 1116[edit]

These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this subsector:

  • -4100: Hiver explorers arrive in the Za'tachk system and discover Loza'tch and the Za'tachk civilization.
  • -4050: First physical contact is made with the Za'tachk by the Hivers.
    • Note that by this point another exploratory Hiver vessel in Folgore Sector has discovered (but not yet contacted) the Gurvin.
  • -3600: The Za'tachk are provided with the technology to build their first jump drive. The Hivers have already set aside space for the Za'tachk to expand into.
    • During this expansion period, the foundations of the Za'tachk Alignment are developed and cemented into law.
  • -2029 to -2013: To coreward, the Hiver interstellar community is threatened by the Hiver-K'kree War.
    • -2023 to -2018: The modern Hive Federation is codified.
    • This is a time of great upheaval in the Za'tachk Alignment.
