Description[edit]

High-population Za'tachk worlds largely define this subsector -- or at least its coreward region. The rim is rather sparse.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Kanblophlare, subsector L of Wrenton, has 19 worlds, of which 12 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 65 billion sophonts. There are four High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, six Low population (Lo) worlds, and five Barren (Ba) worlds. There are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, and no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There is one Rich (Ri) world versus no Industrial (In) worlds. There is one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, eight Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds. There are four Naval bases in the subsector, no Scout bases, and no Way stations.

In Kanblophlare there are two race homeworlds. The highest population world is Googeku (Wrenton 3224). The highest tech level is E at Spuifnap (Wrenton 2725). The average technology level is 7 (with most between 2 and 11).

Major Historical Events Timeline: 1116[edit]

These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this subsector:

  • -4100: Hiver explorers arrive in the Za'tachk system and discover Loza'tch and the Za'tachk civilization.
  • -4050: First physical contact is made with the Za'tachk by the Hivers.
    • Note that by this point another exploratory Hiver vessel in Folgore Sector has discovered (but not yet contacted) the Gurvin.
  • -3600: The Za'tachk are provided with the technology to build their first jump drive. The Hivers have already set aside space for the Za'tachk to expand into.
    • During this expansion period, the foundations of the Za'tachk Alignment are developed and cemented into law.
  • -2029 to -2013: To coreward, the Hiver interstellar community is threatened by the Hiver-K'kree War.
    • -2023 to -2018: The modern Hive Federation is codified.
    • This is a time of great upheaval in the Za'tachk Alignment.
