Yesto is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and both non-agricultural and preindustrial in nature.
- These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- The worldlets are, for the most part, unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- These worldlets are working towards being an industrial world but lack an adequate workforce to do so.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- It is a member world of the Principality of Mavuzo located in the Mavuzo Subsector of Mavuzog Sector.
- This world-system has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.
- This world has an exploration base, which is similar to an Imperial Scout base, capable of handling explorer personnel and exploratory starships.
- 100% of the population is composed of Mavuzo.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Yesto is a binary star system.
- The primary is a red subdwarf named Okag Kar.
- The secondary is a brown dwarf substellar object known as Orcato.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x3 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Yesto is an Asteroid Belt mainworld.
The belt orbits within the primary star's outer system.
- It receives very low levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Yesto is an Asterioid Belt or Planetoid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects. Asteroid Belt is used when the belt is the mainworld of a system. Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
None of the bodies within the Yesto belt retain an atmosphere.
- The belt is in vacuum conditions, requiring the use of a Vacc Suit.
- TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
The Yesto belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.
- Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
- Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held chart of the belt exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.

World Starport[edit]
Yesto has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- There is an associated Naval Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Yesto has a population of 50,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
- The population consists of Mavuzo.
World Demographics[edit]
Mavuzo hatchlings are typically grown to fulfill their chosen role. As they pupate and undergo their selected metamorphism they can dramatically increase in size depending on the selected caste. Full developed hatchlings can report for duty about a month after hatching. In modern hatcheries, pupating young are connected to vast networks of life support equipment. A brief period of orientation and testing to ensure quality is required. Hatchlings arrive on assignment at about half their final body size as designated for the selected caste role.
World Languages[edit]
World Technology Level[edit]
Yesto possesses a Technology Level of TL–12 or TL-C in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-3.
World Government[edit]
Yesto is governed by an Impersonal Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy dictates government policy and its execution. Government leadership is reduced to little more than figureheads and does not select the bureaucracy leadership or its members.
World Law Level[edit]
