Wang is a rich world with a moderate population of over a hundred million, but not yet a billion sophonts in size.

- This world has a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- Most observers think that the planet's economy and population will prosper further in the near future barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Solomani Confederation in the Akuusir Subsector of Dark Nebula Sector.
- To the Aslan, this world is named Wayleiya.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]
Among Wang's Human inhabitants are the Yooi hill folk, Aslanic-speakers who live in the stony highlands around the capital city. Their Empress was deposed by the Solomani Confederation in 1054, and subsequently lived in hiding on Wu. A provisional Solomani government is now in control.
Wang is one of the low-technology worlds where the Sellswords of Gilead recruit. This mercenary band, currently based on Sequel in Khtoiakta Subsector, are highly controversial for recruiting children from worlds with harsh societies where life is cheap, shipping them to Sellsword facilities and training them in combat. The Sellswords are highly coveted as bodyguards on worlds in neutral space of the Dark Nebula Sector.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Wang has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)[edit]
Wang has a population of 200,000,000 sophonts (hundreds of millions).
World Languages[edit]
Urbanization[edit]
Most of the world's population is concentrated in a series of coastal cities. The interior has many wild and lawless areas.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Wang possesses a Technology Level of TL–2.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Runners or beast relay, the printing press, long distance signaling such as the heliograph and semaphore.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Water wheels and wind power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Riding beasts and creature-drawn wheeled vehicles.
- Water: Sailing vessels.
- Air: Typically not available unless a bodily ability or ride-able flying beasts available.
World Government (G)[edit]
Wang is governed by an Impersonal Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy dictates government policy and its execution. Government leadership is reduced to little more than figureheads and does not select the bureaucracy leadership or its members.
World Law (L)[edit]
Wang has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).

- 1041: Satwor becomes a member of the Solomani Confederation, beginning the rapid absorption of other Cluster worlds.
