- The world of Orphee (world) does have a small human academic community who study the Orpheides society. However, it has been interdicted to trade and naval traffic by the Convention of Interdiction (5575 AD /1054 Imperial ). This was signed by all worlds within the Islands Clusters (New Islands Subsector and Old Islands Subsector). Occasional ships carrying supplies and researchers do call on the system from time to time.
- For 550 years, the Florian League gradually grew, reaching its present size in 1054. At that time, one or two Aslan clans commenced raiding inside the League, and soon after the publication of the Imperial Second Survey, the League established a unified military and built bases on several worlds.
