History & Background (Dossier)

Circa -2355, politics in Retan Subsector were tense. Jealous of the world's independence when their own systems had accepted client status with the Zhodani Consulate, disgruntled factions began targeting U'kihr, and other worlds left outside the Zhodani sphere. U'kihr managed to erect a strong customs barrier just in time to catch an extremely dirty nuclear weapon. Using new clients Zeyiri, Thapek, and Raletela as bases, the Zhodani cracked down on the region and put a stop to the attacks.

World Starport (St)

U'kihr has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
