The Missile Corvette is a light warship.
- It is a military ship and a Missile Corvette.
Description[edit]
This Silversun Class design is deployed in the battle squadrons of the Mapepire Cluster. It has jump 3 range and 6 gs acceleration and 6 agility. It uses a streamlined needle/wedge configuration hull with scoops and purification to permit ocean refueling. It is armed with a battery of sand casters and triple beam lasers. There are two batteries of fusion guns and it carries a heavy missile bay. The cluster admiralty see it as a valuable design detached to patrol and escort vital fleet elements. It can not stand in the line of battle as the hull size precludes a spinal mounted meson gun. It carries no hull armor and must rely on its agility to avoid hits.
Ship Characteristics[edit]
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (...of ten subcraft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (...thousands of tons) where necessary.
