Ronodik is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and barren in nature with no overt population, government, or law level.
- These worldlets would warrant hazardous environment precautions if anyone lived here.
- They could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Ronodik Subsector of Theron Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Ronodik is a trinary star system.
- The primary is an enormous red giant named Salvator.
- The secondary is a red main sequence.
- The tertiary is an orange main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x7 secondary rocky worlds.
- x3 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Ronodik is an Asteroid Belt mainworld.
Ronodik consists of two separate star systems.
- The red giant primary star and its secondary red main sequence companion form one system.
- The orange main sequence tertiary star lies a few hundred AU distant.
The mainworld orbits within the orange tertiary star's outer system.
- It receives very low levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits beyond the stars Jump Shadow.
- A small, very thin atmosphere, heavily irradiated secondary world orbits within the stars habitable zone.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Ronodik is an Asteroid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects.
- Asteroid Belt is the belt when it is the mainworld of a system.
- Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
None of the bodies within the Ronodik belt retain an atmosphere.
- The belt is in vacuum conditions, requiring the use of a Vacc Suit.
- TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
The belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.
- Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
- Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held chart of the belt exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, asteroid belt.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Ronodik is a frontier, a wild and lonely place that rarely sees visitors. Many of the planets and moons within it have ever have had an intelligent being visit them.
- Information about the system is limited.
- The resources of the system are largely untapped.
The system is unpopulated.
- Commercial traffic is extremely rare: the system sees very few visiting ships.
- Commo only picks up natural background noise and static.
- There are no active navigation beacons.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date: previously undocumented groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Ronodik does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Ronodik is unpopulated.
Urbanization[edit]
None.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Ronodik possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.
- The world has no technological base.
World Government (G)[edit]
Ronodik has no government or ruling authority of any kind.
World Military[edit]
None.
World Law (L)[edit]
Ronodik has no law level. No laws of any kind are enforced.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: C (very abundant)
- Labor: 0 (unpopulated)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -5 (extremely poor)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 0 (none)
- Acceptance: 0 (none)
- Strangeness: 0 (none)
- Symbols: 0 (none)
World Timeline[edit]
- 300-420: the First Survey charts the system.
- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
