The Regional Criminal Police Organisation (the RCPO) is a police force that primarily operates within the Suerrat Cultural Region.

The majority of its personnel are Suerrat.

The RCPO has a broad directive which covers combating drug trafficking and production, political corruption, and sophont exploitation. The organisation fosters and facilitates cooperation among planetary law enforcement institutions in the Suerrat Cultural Region through databases and communications networks.

The RCPO is politically neutral, and indeed is barred from interventions or activities which are judged political or military in nature.

The RCPO operates variants of the Sulieman class Scout/Courier, with the manoeuvre and jump drives upgraded at the expense of cargo capacity and crew space. Note that Suerrat are more comfortable in cramped conditions than most Humans.
