Qliansach is a poor, low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in population size.
- This poor world is struggling to establish itself and living conditions in many areas are rudimentary.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Aquaria Subsector of Fulani Sector.
- It orbits the secondary star.
- This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Qliansach is a binary star system.
- The primary is a turbulent yellow subgiant.
- The secondary is a yellow main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x9 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the secondary star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones prime H region.
- It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits just inside the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Qliansach is a Small World between 4,000km and 5,600km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.24G and 0.34G. The horizon will appear about 3km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Qliansach has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Qliansach has 25-35% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants will be recycled.
- Much of the surface is an arid, hostile environment.
Satellites:[edit]
Qliansach retains a tiny planetoid moon.
- Its surface is cratered and irregular
- It orbits once every few days.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Primitive native life occupying a number of ecological niches. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
- Native life is found around the shores of seas and lakes.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Qliansach is a backwater outpost with almost no development. Current settlement is the early part of an ambitious project to colonize the world, with the aim of eventually bringing it into the Unity.
- The resources of the system are largely untapped.
There is limited activity within the system.
- Commercial traffic is relatively infrequent: ships only occasionally visit.
- Commo picks up occasional signals and private chatter. Communications are in Zdetl.
- The primary star causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.
- One or two commercial navigation beacons may be active.
- Vessels rarely operate among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Qliansach has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Qliansach has a population of 10 Vlazhdumecta humans.
Urbanization[edit]
A single central facility, lying close to the starport, with a few outlying structures and compounds.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Qliansach possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Qliansach has no central government for the world, an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.
World Military[edit]
Privately retained security personnel.
World Law (L)[edit]
Qliansach has no law in practice. It is an Anarchy. On many worlds, this by itself justifies an Amber Zone advisory. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 9 (moderate)
- Labor: 0 (none available)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: +2 (good)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -2 (very unimportant)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 1 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 1 (extremely xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 4 (somewhat distinct)
- Symbols: C (very abstract)
World Timeline[edit]

- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
