Plemu is a Twilight Zone World.

• One side of the world permanently faces towards the star and one side permanently faces away.
• In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the primary star eternally hangs on the horizon.

The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.

• It lies within the zones prime H region.
• It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.

• The world orbits inside the stars Jump Shadow.

Mainworld Size (S)

Plemu is a Small World between 2,400km and 4,000km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.1G and 0.17G. The horizon will appear about 2.5km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Plemu has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

• The world has an abiotic oxygen atmosphere.
• Oxygen is produced by photocatalytic conversion of surface materials by stellar energy.
• Fresh surface material is constantly exposed through processes such as seismic activity, volcanism, or erosion.
• The oxygen rapidly depletes from the atmosphere through oxidization with surface materials: a rough equilibrium between production and depletion exists.
• The percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere varies according to the density of global cloud cover.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Plemu has 15-25% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice. There may be a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are Hell Worlds or Poor Worlds depending on their atmosphere.

Plemu is a frontier, a wild and lonely place that rarely sees visitors. Many of the planets and moons within it have ever have had an intelligent being visit them.

• Commercial traffic is extremely rare: the system sees very few visiting ships.
• The star causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.
