Olral is a poor, barren world with no overt population, government, or law level.
- This world could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Gembolia Subsector of Astron Sector.
- It is a binary world.
- It is a main world which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
- This is a frozen world, with a climate of extremely low temperatures.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Olral is a binary star system.
- The primary is a red main sequence.
- The secondary is a brown dwarf substellar object.
Binary Solar System
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x9 secondary rocky worlds.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Olral is the minor component in a binary planet pairing.
- The two worlds have a similar mass.
- The two worlds orbit a barycenter once every few days.
The mainworld and its large primary world orbit within the star's Habitable Zone.
- They lie at the outer edge of the zones colder outer H- region.
- They receive lower levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Olral is a Small World between 4,000km and 5,600km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.24G and 0.34G. The horizon will appear about 3km away.
- Tidal stresses generated by the worlds large primary world cause frequent seismic activity.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Olral has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Olral has 25-35% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants will be recycled.
- The world experiences very low temperatures.
- Much of the surface is covered in glaciers, pack ice, and ice sheets.
Satellites:[edit]
Olral is the moon of a large world.
- Its larger primary is Chetzjbar, an exotic atmosphere world with fluid seas.
- Chetzjbar: UWP Y8A2000-0
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Primitive, specialized native life filling a few specific ecological niches. Its metabolic functions help regulate the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The system is a remote wilderness. Many of the planets and moons within it may never have had an intelligent being visit them.
- Information about the system is limited.
- The resources of the system are untapped.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date: previously undocumented groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Olral does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Olral possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.
- The world has no technological base.
World Government (G)[edit]
Olral has no government or ruling authority of any kind.
World Military[edit]
None.
World Law (L)[edit]
Olral has no law level. No laws of any kind are enforced.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 9 (moderate)
- Labor: 0 (unpopulated)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -5 (extremely poor)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Olral is unpopulated.
Urbanization[edit]
