Nukaush is a world suited to becoming an agricultural world, but with a population between 10,000 and 100,000 sophonts it lacks the capability to produce or process sufficient resources to export its projected agricultural produce. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Arnakhish Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Nukaush, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and a baronet. Both are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships. 100% of the world's population is the Minor Race Hamaran. During the Long Night this world was named Shinnagekkhi.
Astrography and planetology[edit]
Nukaush is a member of the Shegimuud Trace. The naval base hosts elements of the 205th Fleet.
Stellar Data[edit]
System Data[edit]
Mainworld Data[edit]
Surveys from space appear to give the illusion of massive ore deposits just below the surface of the planet. This was the reason for the initial colonization, but only very small deposits have ever been found.
Nukaush:
- Mean orbital radius: 0.2AU
- Period: 46.38 standard days
- Diameter: 9627km

Mainworld Topography and Geography[edit]
The Cauldron region of Nukaush was formed millennia ago when a meteor passing through the system destroyed the twin moons of Ithungsi and caused a fragment of one of these moons to crash into Nukaush. Today the Cauldron is protected on three sides by high cliffs, with massive waterfalls plunging over the sides to the crater floor three kilometres below.
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Nukaush is one of only two system in Dagudashaag Sector to have developed polymorph lifeforms -- the Jhester -- the other being Karrana'ch (Dagudashaag 0302). The Jhesters' unique gene structure has been used by one of the several family-combines that run the planet, in collaboration with Makhidkarun and SURD, to create prototype Androids; the most successful being the Grey series which are designed to be human enough for aesthetics.
Nukaush is one of only three planets in the Imperium known to have successfully transplanted the giant Rantherian Redwood from Ranther (Foreven 2214). Though none have grown as large as the emperor's Yggdrasil, several have topped 230 meters in height.
History and Background[edit]
The world has been colonized by Gograhhah Reivers, later by the Cult of Dhuna fundamentalists, Hamaran, and Vilani. A significant population of Hamaran still resides on this world.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Nukaush has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Demographics[edit]
This is primarily a Hamaran world, though only Humaniti dwell within the settlements that are recorded on the planetary census:
- 78% Humaniti, Vilani
- 12% Humaniti, mixed.
- No record is taken of the Hamaran colonists or of those dwelling in the wilderness regions.
World Languages[edit]
- Kiriani: The primary trade language of the Hamaran.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
Urbanization[edit]
- Primary Cities:
- Misha - 9,000, Starport B;
- Inferno - 12,500, starport C (restricted);
- Teäl - Hamaran settlement, population unknown, spaceport F;
- Rural settlements - 4,400.
World Technology Level (TL)[edit]
Nukaush possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World Government[edit]
Global government is non-existent. Local decision making is organized along patriarchal and guild lines. Most settlements are primarily extended families.
World Law[edit]
Law Enforcement is restricted to the local communities and varies according to location. Limited agreements relating to certain civil and criminal laws have been established between the majority of the settlements.
World Culture[edit]
Social outlook: Progressive, indifferent, competitive, neutral, harmonious, xenophilic.
