Nizhr is a barren world with no overt population, government, or law level.
- This world could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Obunemias Subsector of Astron Sector.
- This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Nizhr is a binary star system.
- The primary is an orange main sequence.
- The secondary is a red main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x7 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
- x4 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits just within the outer system.
- It receives very low levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits within the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Nizhr is a Big World between 16,800km and 18,400km in diameter. The world has a high gravity between 1.5G and 1.9G. The horizon will appear about 6km away. Vessels with 1G of thrust should not land on this world. Vessels with 2G of thrust should check with local starport authorities before attempting to land using emergency power.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Nizhr has a pressure of 2.5 or greater atmospheres. A Dense & High Pressure Atmosphere typically requires no survival gear under many conditions. Pressure at or below sea level is too great to support life but is breathable at higher altitudes. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Nizhr has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.
- The world experiences low temperatures.
- Much of the surface is covered in glaciers, pack ice, and ice sheets.
- The deep oceans are kept liquid by high pressure and geothermal heat.
Satellites:[edit]
Nizhr retains two small vacuum moons.
- They orbit once every few weeks.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly watery world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Exotic, diverse native life occupying every available habitat. Its metabolic functions help drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
- Native lifeforms are specialized to a low altitude, high gravity, very high atmospheric pressure environment.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The system is a remote wilderness. Many of the planets and moons within it may never have had an intelligent being visit them.
- Information about the system is limited.
- The resources of the system are untapped.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date: previously undocumented groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Nizhr does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Nizhr possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.
- The world has no technological base.
World Government (G)[edit]
Nizhr has no government or ruling authority of any kind.
World Military[edit]
None.
World Law (L)[edit]
Nizhr has no law level. No laws of any kind are enforced.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 3 (very scarce)
- Labor: 0 (unpopulated)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -5 (extremely poor)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Nizhr is unpopulated.
Urbanization[edit]
None.
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 0 (none)
- Acceptance: 0 (none)
- Strangeness: 0 (none)
- Symbols: 0 (none)
World Timeline[edit]

- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
