Nesbitt has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy dictates government policy and its execution. Government leadership is reduced to little more than figureheads and does not select the bureaucracy leadership or its members.
World Military[edit]
The primary interstellar enforcement arm of the League of Suns is the League Survey Service, a scout organization with military appendages.

The recent emergence of the aggressive Descarothe Hegemony to spinward has forced a drastic reassessment of military strategy on the part of the League of Suns. Treaty arrangements have been made with the Third Imperium; these provide for Imperial use of local facilities for ships and squadrons operating in the area, in exchange for support against encroachment by surrounding Zhodani clients.
World Law (L)[edit]
Nesbitt has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Light assault weapons, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
