• As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
• This world has few prospects for economic development.
• It is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal in the Shillelagh Subsector of Iphigenaia Sector.

• It is a main world which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
• This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
• This world has an exploration base, which is similar to an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling explorer personnel and exploratory starships.

The mainworld and its gas giant primary orbit within the star's Habitable Zone.

• The gas giant is "puffy", warm and swollen due to the energy it receives from the star.

• They orbit inside the stars Jump Shadow.

Mainworld Size (S)

Hlu'ou is a Small World between 4,000km and 5,600km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.24G and 0.34G. The horizon will appear about 3km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Hlu'ou has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Hlu'ou has 05-15% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are Hell Worlds or Poor Worlds depending on their atmosphere.

• The world falls under the broad purview of the Seieakh and Aokhalte clans.

Aslan settlement began during the 1060s.

• Prior to settlement, Hlu'ou was a barren world.
• Construction is ongoing in many areas.
• The resources of the system are being explored.

The human population of the world arrived with the Aslan.

• Most are happy and integrated members of society.
• Some are not there by choice.

The system is busy. Private groups and business interests are engaged in a range of activities.

• Commercial traffic is fairly frequent: ships regularly visit the system.
• Commo picks up constant signals and transmissions. Communications are in Trokh.
• A number of commercial navigation beacons will be active.
• A number of vessels may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
• Exploratory or survey vessels may be active in the system.

There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
