History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The F-102 Delta Dart class Fighter is a small craft serving with the 1st self defense squadron of Nauvoo (world). To date only a single interceptor squadron of eight ships have been built thus far. Crewed by bold warrior heroes, who proudly defend their world against impossible odds. Due to their limited computational powers they are frequently vectored to their intercepts by deployed arrays of remote sensors which handle target acquisition and hand off firing solutions to the fighters. Designed for speed they are not nimble dog fighters, they are intended to rapidly interdict hostile craft and harass any assault or bombardment attempts. On the defensive they power down the pulse laser firing array and must rely on the sand caster and the rating 6 emergency agility this affords.
