Subsector P of Blaskon Sector, within the Hive Federation.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The subsector is named for a native species, which inhabits a number of Hive Federation worlds in the region.

Dradrip Subsector is divided by a rift region, with the rimward half containing the Dradrip Syndicate and the Hiver administrative subcapital. The coreward border is less important, sparsely inhabited save for two agricultural worlds.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Dradrip, subsector P of Blaskon, contains 27 worlds with an estimated combined population of 30 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,730, and a total economy of BCr177,642. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr734 through 21 starports (6 Class A, 6 Class B, 7 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 116,950 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 3 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Gix (Blaskon 2637) and Zarkinan (Blaskon 3137).

Dradrip, subsector P of Blaskon, contains 42 stars and 305 identified planets; 12 monostellar systems, 15 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 19 of the 27 systems (70%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Dradrip has an estimated population of 30 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, one Moderate population (Ph) world, ten Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, eight Low population (Lo) worlds, and four Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Dradrip (Blaskon 3237). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including two native sophonts.

3 identified sophont populations in Dradrip
  • Dradrip of Dradrip: 30 billion on their homeworld and one additional world.
  • Avocaa of Avocaa: 800 million on their homeworld.
  • Hiver of Guaran (Ricenden 0827): 195 million on 23 worlds.

Hive Federation[edit]

The Hive Federation has jurisdiction over 26 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 30 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,730, and a total economy of BCr177,642. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 4 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Gix (Blaskon 2637) and Zarkinan (Blaskon 3137).

The Hive Federation has an estimated population of 30 billion within the subsector, distributed across one High population (Hi) world, one Moderate population (Ph) world, ten Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, eight Low population (Lo) worlds, and three Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Dradrip (Blaskon 3237). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including two native sophonts.

Non-Aligned, Human-dominated[edit]
