Cyan is a high-population world, a member of the Solomani Confederation that supports a naval base.

• Cyan is the most important Confederation world in the subsector. The home port of Solomani Military Industries, a corporate subsidiary of the Solomani Confederation Navy, is located on Cyan.
• Cyan was an early adherent to the Solomani Movement, sending a large delegation to the first Movement meeting on Terra (Solomani Rim 1827) in 685.

World Starport (Sp)

Cyan has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
