Chaidr is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and barren in nature with no overt population, government, or law level.
- These worldlets would warrant hazardous environment precautions if anyone lived here.
- They could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Enzhek Subsector of Chiep Zhez Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x2 secondary rocky worlds.
- x3 planetoid belts.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Chaidr is an asteroid belt mainworld.
It orbits within the outer system.
- It receives very low levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Chaidr is an Asterioid Belt or Planetoid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects. Asteroid Belt is used when the belt is the mainworld of a system. Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Chaidr is an Asteroid Belt, where all the bodies are in vacuum conditions requiring the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle a belt.
- The worldlets within asteroid belts have no climate, but experience extreme differences in temperature between direct starlight and shade.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
The belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects may have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.
- Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
- Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
(Placeholder chart, asteroid belt.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No known native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Chaidr is a wilderness, a wild and lonely place that almost never sees visitors. Most of the planets and moons within the system have never been visited by an intelligent being.
- Information about the system is limited.
- The resources of the system are untapped.
The system's star experiences periodic bouts of flare activity, which causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors. The belt orbits far enough from the star for the disruption to be minimal.
- During major outbursts of flare activity radiation levels within the inner system are dangerously high.
- Exposure to elevated radiation levels causes serious health issues and may damage unshielded electronic devices.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date: previously undocumented groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Chaidr does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Population (P)[edit]
Chaidr is a Barren World with no sophont population. It may still possess lifeforms.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Chaidr possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.
- The world has no technological base.
World Government (G)[edit]
Chaidr has no government or ruling authority of any kind.
World Law (L)[edit]
Chaidr has no law level. No laws of any kind are enforced.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 6 (few)
- Labor: 0 (unpopulated)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -5 (extremely poor)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 0 (none)
- Acceptance: 0 (none)
- Strangeness: 0 (none)
- Symbols: 0 (none)
