- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Ilelish Subsector of Ilelish Sector in the Domain of Ilelish.

The hex contains a trinary star system and a binary star system, lying around a light year apart.

Hex 3006 of Ilelish Sector also contains the bright giant star Albireo and its two companions.
It is a trinary star system.
- The primary is a turbulent orange bright giant named Albireo Aa.
- The secondary is a blue main sequence named Albireo Ac.
- The tertiary is a blue main sequence named Albireo B.
- None of the three stars retain a planetary system.

Beta Cygnus 4 has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Beta Cygnus 4 has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.

In -9534 a sublight expedition was launched from Ilelish to this system, called Eritlep by the Suerrat.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Beta Cygnus 4 has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

- This is a Low Population World and the population would be too low to sustain itself without a little outside assistance. This may represent the home base of a sizable but mostly transient population such as the base of a major starship expedition, the last generation of a dying colony, the first generation of a new colony, or a large outpost that will probably evolve into a colony if not stopped.
