• It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Blahonga Subsector of Astron Sector.

• This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
• This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.

Astovar is a Twilight Zone World.

• In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the primary star eternally hangs on the horizon.
• The two stars orbit around one another every few hours, swapping positions on the horizon.

It orbits towards the outer edge of its star's habitable zone.

• It receives relatively low levels of stellar energy.

Astovar is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.

Astovar has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
