Aerritho is a non-agricultural, pre-industrial, moderate population vacuum world, which warrants hazardous environment precautions, with over a hundred million, but not yet at a billion sophonts in population size.

  • Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
  • It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
  • It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
  • Its economy and population are slowly growing and living conditions are expected to improve in the near future barring outside forces.
  • This world toils under the control of a military government with conditions reflecting that situation including curtailed civil rights and limited freedoms.
  • It is a member of the Anti-Rukh Coalition in the Spurl Subsector of Gvurrdon Sector.
  • This world-system hosts a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.

Aerritho has been part of the Anti-Rukh Coalition since its formation in 1069. However, the chaotic nature of the world's society made it easy for agents of the Worlds of Leader Rukh to infiltrate and rise through the ranks. In 1103, enough charismatic agents were in place to spark an uprising. The purpose of this was to destabilise the world and gain control of the local ore production.
