Subsector P of Riftspan Reaches Sector, where the Aslan Hierate meets the Great Rift.
Description[edit]
The J-5 Trans-Rift Hierate Route, of major importance to the Aslan Hierate, launches from here.
Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]
Wahtoikoeakh, subsector P of Riftspan Reaches, contains 16 worlds with an estimated combined population of 98 billion, a per capita income of Cr12,348, and a total economy of BCr1,218,738. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr844 through 16 starports (7 Class A, 9 Class B, 0 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 98,300 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Wahtoikoeakh maintain two Clan bases, and one Tlaukhu base. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 10 and 13). The highest technology level is 14 at Uafaya (Riftspan Reaches 2840), Oisyasais (Riftspan Reaches 2933), and Wahtoikoeakh (Riftspan Reaches 2936).
Wahtoikoeakh, subsector P of Riftspan Reaches, contains 23 stars and 182 identified planets; nine monostellar systems, seven binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 10 of the 16 systems (62%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, two Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Wahtoikoeakh has an estimated population of 98 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Wahtoikoeakh (Riftspan Reaches 2936). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
This subsector is named for one of its major worlds, the name of which means "home of the Wahtoi himself", i.e. the leader of Clan Wahtoi. This was once true, but though the name remains, Aslan Clan politics has long since stripped the Wahtoi of their local prominence.
