Rhuna is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and both non-agricultural and preindustrial in nature.

• These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
• Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
• The worldlets are, for the most part, unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
• These worldlets are working towards being an industrial world but lack an adequate workforce to do so.
• It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Gadirur Subsector of Ilelish Sector in the Domain of Ilelish.
• This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.

• Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

None of the bodies within the Rhuna belt retain an atmosphere.

• The belt is in vacuum conditions, requiring the use of a Vacc Suit.
• TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

The Rhuna belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.

• Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
• Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.

Rhuna has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Rhuna has a population of 70,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).

World Technology Level (T)

Rhuna possesses a Technology Level of TL–13 or TL-D in Hexadecimal Notation.

Usually the governmental leadership is divided, or incapable of setting policy, and the bureaucracy provides a stabilizing influence. This ruling bureaucracy may be the full government bureaucractic apparatus or a section with limited jurisdiction but considerable influence, like the military.

Rhuna has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.

Rhuna, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the fiefdom of a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversees affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.
