Description (Specifications)
ISN Kom: Their weapons load was selected to inflict several small wounds to cripple prey, rather than kill. They targeted drives and turrets, seeking to disable and capture ships rather than blast them from the sky. The crew had to become their own boarding party once the airlocks sealed up. The free booters, were independent pirates would only heed the call to full scale battle if the prize was rich enough. These "captains" were not part of a normal, reliable fleet chain of command, more of an armed auxiliary force.
