Pretoria, subsector A of Deneb Sector, is a vigorous, growing subsector near the Spinward fringe of the Imperium. The subsector’s major Xboat route connects the Coreward subsectors of the Spinward Marches with the heart of the Deneb sector.
Pretoria contains 31 worlds with a population of 11.4 billion. The highest population is 7 billion, at Pretoria (Deneb 0406). The highest tech level is C at Carthage (Deneb 0202), Kretikaa (Deneb 0209) and Pretoria. The subsector capital is at Pretoria, which is currently under Imperial Naval rule as a result of the Rachelean Revolts.
Originally designated as District 217, Pretoria saw a rush of MegaCorporation investment in the 300s. In 457 Pretoria subsector was admitted into the Imperium.

The Pretoria Subsector is a vigorous, growing subsector near the spinward edge of the Imperium. The subsector's major xboat route connects the coreward subsectors of the Spinward Marches Sector with the heart of the Deneb Sector.
Pretoria (0406) is currently under Imperial Naval Rule as a result of the Rachelean Revolts of 1010 and 1011. Pretoria is also the only other world besides Pysadi /Aramis on which Howood is known to grow - howood is renowned for its high mineral content and its natural aromatic smell.
The Pretoria Subsector is defended by 194th Fleet.
