The Sabine Subsector is defended by 195th Fleet. Sabine has the largest Imperial fleet in Deneb.

Sabine is divided into two astrographic regions. The first region has high technology, significant megacorporate trade, and is fully integrated into the Imperium, containing a complicated Xboat nexus and two worlds, Magash and Thengin (Deneb 0518), of major importance to the entire sector. They connect the major military-industrial world of Rhylanor (Spinward Marches 2716) with industrial powerhouses and vast shipyards in Vincennes and Usani subsectors.

The second region, near the border of the Spinward Marches and Deneb, is informally known as the Sabine Backwater and includes a cluster of low population worlds largely forgotten by the Imperium.

The largest Main in Deneb is the Sabinar Main, which connects many worlds in Sabine and Inar subsectors.

Sabine, originally designated District 218, was settled primarily between 298 and 366, with Magash hosting the first colony. Sabine was admitted into the Imperium in 366.
