The Sabine Backwater is an astrographic region in Sabine Subsector of Deneb Sector, near the border of the Spinward Marches.

The Backwater includes a cluster of worlds lying approximately between the major worlds of Rhylanor (Spinward Marches 2716), Mora (Spinward Marches 3124) and Magash (Deneb 0316).

History & Background (Dossier)

Most of the Backwater systems are low population worlds and are largely forgotten by the Imperium.

• Governments frequently resort to low levels of military force to resolve differences, regional corporations exploit entire worlds and privateers are common and untrustworthy.

Economic activity in this region mainly has three forms:
