Fallow style="width: 250px; height: 350px; border: solid 1px black; float: right; clear: left"

A sector considered to be a part of the Distant Fringe. It forms a part of the Empty Stars.

Meta-History & Background

Fallow Sector is an unexplored region. The positions and types of its stars have been cataloged as part of the University of Tal Varisa Deep Sky Program.

Description (Specifications)

Fallow Sector is an unpopulated and totally undeveloped wilderness. Starfaring sophonts are not known to have been active in the sector since the Dissident Fleet travelled through the region more than three millennia ago. No part of the sector can be reached by conventional jump-2 vessels travelling from the Distant Fringe proper.

Background & History

Very limited information is available about the systems lying within Fallow Sector. Astronomical surveys conducted from within the Distant Fringe have accurately defined the positions and types of the stars that lie within its borders. Those surveys have also identified the presence of massive gas giant worlds orbitting them through their effects on their primaries.

Native Sophonts (NILs)

No native sophont species are known to exist within Fallow Sector. There are very probably NILs inhabiting a few of its many unnamed and unexplored systems.
