The Kokasha are a distinct Vargr subspecies (not merely an ethnicity). They are the smallest of the Vargr subspecies and were engineered by the Ancients to have heightened mental faculties at the expense of their physical attributes. Male Kokasha are typically 1.25-1.45 metres high and mass 40-50 kilograms. Females are slightly smaller, averaging 1.2-1.4 metres high and massing 35-45 kilograms.

Though not psionic as an ethnicity, the Kokasha departed Lair immediately after the ostracized (and psionic) Roth Thokken during the early years of the First Vargr Diaspora.
