The Kokasha Vargr of Lair (Provence 2402) are a technologically advanced Vargr Ethnic Group. The Vargr are a Canidoid Race with a humanoid body plan and a Semi-humanoid appearance.

Description (Specifications)

The Kokasha are a distinct Vargr subspecies (not merely an ethnicity). The Kokasha are all but extinct now and those that remain live in a refuge in Rukhs Dall (known as Trenchans Sector to the Imperium), suspected to lie within the Trae Aggregation. They are the smallest of the Vargr subspecies and were engineered by the Ancients to have heightened mental faculties at the expense of their physical attributes. Male Kokasha are typically 1.25-1.45 metres high and mass 40-50 kilograms. Females are slightly smaller, averaging 1.2-1.4 metres high and massing 35-45 kilograms.

History & Background (Dossier)

Though not psionic as an ethnicity, the Kokasha departed Lair immediately after the ostracized (and psionic) Roth Thokken during the early years of the First Vargr Diaspora.

The Kokasha (and the Roth Thokken) are among the Tsekhaerz -- "small races", a term of dismissal used by mainstream Vargr. A more derogatory term often used is ilksangerz, effectively meaning "strange races" or "alien races".
