• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world. However, a rich world like this one can afford the cost of importation.
• This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
• Its economy and population are growing and living conditions are expected to incrementally rise barring outside forces. The world will grow even quicker when its industrial sector begins to develop.
• It is a member of the Kajaani Triumvirate in the Kajaani Subsector of Vanguard Reaches Sector.

History & Background (Dossier)

This world is a 'second-tier' member of the Kajaani Triumvirate.

The Eslyat Magistracy's occupation of the unpopulated world Denmordan in 1092 caused concern for the Triumvirate. The Denmordan system lies only a parsec from Rozennes and Kajaani. The Triumvirate therefore protested the move, increased its naval budget and constructed a new naval base at Rozennes, only the third such facility within the polity.

World Starport

Rozennes has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
