Subsector L of Vanguard Reaches Sector

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Named for the Kajaani Triumvirate, which dominates the subsector.

Most of the systems of the Kajaani Subsector were settled from the Corellan League. Fearing a more centralised League during a period of Federalist sentiment, they chose to secede and form their own union, one that ironically turned out to be more centralised than the League ever strove to be.

Kajaani consists of 16 systems and nearly five billion inhabitants. All but three systems are part of the Kajaani Triumvirate. Only one of the remaining three was settled, the distant world of Kadri, with less than 100,000 residents. One of the uninhabited systems, Joshi, has since been claimed by the Eslyat Magistracy, a contention the Triumvirate challenges.
