Taproban is a fluid world with oceans of a liquid other than water such as ammonia, methane, or hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquids. This world is designated an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Million Subsector of Deneb Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Taproban, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world. This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.

Taproban is a barren fluid world with oceans of a liquid other than water such as ammonia, methane, or hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquids.

• This world has no overt population, government, or law level.
• This world could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so... This world was once settled and developed, but the inhabitants have either died off or left leaving behind the remnants of their civilization. It is a unclaimed Non-Aligned world in the Million Subsector of Deneb Sector.

Description (Planetology)

Taproban has a significant trade surplus mainly because it is on a minor trade route running from Atsah Subsector into Vargr territory.

History & Background (Dossier)

Taproban is the fief of the Marquis of Million.

Taproban troops played a key role in the Civil War (600-629)/Second Frontier War (615-620) when they successfully fought to stabilise the border against Vargr incursions.

For centuries Taproban formed a triumvirate of power in Million Subsector with Fel (Deneb 2904) and {{WorldS|Aerfor|Deneb|3104), drawing on support from, and supporting both the Duchies of Atsah and Antra at various times.

Military Power

In 1105, Taproban was the host to half the 61st Fleet, and sponsored its own colonial squadrons:

• 1st Taproban Assault Squadron
• 2nd Taproban Assault Squadron
• 1st Taproban Scout Squadron
• 2nd Taproban Scout Squadron
• 1st Taproban System Defence Squadron
• 2nd Taproban System Defence Squadron

and had issued some 24 Letters of Marque

Era: Hard Times

Taproban was completely deserted by 1136 as part of the Abandonment
